Does Steve McNair deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?

After Steve McNair was brutally murdered a few days ago by his girlfriend, Sahel Kamezi, the question began to arise "Is there a place in Canton for Steve McNair?"

I believe he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. McNair is 1 of 3 players in NFL History that threw for over 30,000 and ran for over 3,000 yards. Coincidentally, the other two (Steve Young and Frank Tankerton) are both in the Hall of Fame.

So why is McNair considered a long shot to get inducted?

yes he made the titans who they were and if not for the multiple injuries he wld still be in the nfl. definitly the toguhest qb there has been in the past decade. ppl say favre and manning were as tough as him because they started more games but they didn't have injuries like he did
